Marguerite of the Mazo
He was born in Malpica de Tajo (Toledo), next to a castle full of legends that his grandmothers told him. As a child, she was already a storyteller, so, although she graduated in Law, she soon saw how her path twisted towards the world of stories. And it began to tell, for more than two decades, it tells for all the ears that want to listen to it. Tell stories out loud and on paper. And he says to live from the story, not only because it gives him enough to live, but because he cannot live without telling. Author of more than twenty titles, some of which can be found in more than twelve languages. His works have won numerous national and international awards: Lazarillo Award for Illustrated Album 2011, Gold Medal at the Bratislava Biennale 2013, Booksellers Guild Award 2014, Fundación Cuatrogatos Award 2016, Best Children's Fiction Picture Book at the International Latino Book Awards 2016, Gelett Burgess Awards 2016, Juul Award 2017, Cuatrogatos Foundation Award 2018.
He was born in 1983 in Alicante, between orange trees and sea. Since he was a child he loved to draw and read comics. Franco-Belgian Y journals underground.
He has published with more than a dozen national and international publishers and collaborates with magazines and newspapers. In 2011 he was nominated revelation author at the Barcelona Comic Fair and in 2012 was a finalist for the International Graphic Novel Award
